Here at the HPOAF, we can't imagine how hard it must be for people who cannot afford the pain meds or other necessary veterinary interventions when their beloved pet gets sick or hurt. That's why we started the Haliburton Pet Owners' Assistance Fund.

Roy Campbell - President
Retired senior automotive executive and co-owner of Bismarck, who was the inspiration for the HPOAF.
Dr. Peter Bennett - Director
A retired veterinarian, Dr. Bennett was Associate Veterinarian at Bayview Animal Hospital in Toronto from 1971 - 1979. He was the Owner of the Minden Animal Hospital from 1979 - 2006.
Tayce Wakefield - Secretary - Treasurer
Retired senior automotive executive and co-owner of Bismarck, the inspiration for the creation of the HPOAF.
Andrea Habas - Director
A partner in the Toronto law firm of Bresver, Grossman, Chapman & Habas, Ms. Habas is a member of the Animal Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association.
Joan Middleton - Director
Long time Haliburton resident and former breeder of champion English Springer Spaniels, Ms. Middleton is an IT Consultant.
